Dr. Talabá graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025.
He was born and raised in Humacao, Puerto Rico, and is fully bilingual and a former collegiate track and field athlete. He earned an undergraduate degree in general biology and a master's in public health with a specialization in environmental health, both from the University of Puerto Rico.
During veterinary school, Dr. Talabá traveled to Ecuador to provide vaccinations and spay-and-neuter services to underserved communities. He also completed certificates in business management and shelter medicine. His professional interests include preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, public health, and zoonotic diseases.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Talabá enjoys visiting theme parks, playing video games, spending time with friends and family, and staying active.
